Variety Show plans are heating up!

The countdown is on and the acts are heating up.

At 7:30 p.m., on October 22nd & 23rd 2010, the Historic Dixon Theatre will be filled with local talent across the Sauk Valley Area. The list of talent includes; over a dozen vocalists, three bands, piano solos, comedy routines and yoyo skills, just to name a few.

The Variety Show is being put on by the newly formed Sauk Valley Arts and Culture Commission. This event will serve as a fund raiser for the commission, but more importantly, it will showcase the talent that we have right here in Dixon Illinois and the Sauk Valley Area.

Tickets can be purchased in Advance from Venier's Jewelry, Flowers Etc., the Dixon Public Library, and the Next Picture Show, all in Dixon and Woodlawn Arts Academy in Sterling. Advance prices are $10 for adults, $5 ages 4-12, and children under four will be free. Tickets at the door will be $2 more.
