DIXON - Twenty-two heads lifted from desktops and homework assignments in a Reagan Middle School classroom to the glow of a television set and the voice of a new president.

Kelly Henkel's eighth-grade social studies class has followed the election of Barack Obama since school started. Students on Tuesday devoted their class time to the inauguration.
