The Dixon Park District offers many programs as well as various summer and winter activities for all ages.

A quiet morning or evening can be highlighted with a walk along the river and feeding or watching the hundreds of ducks and geese that call Page Park, their "home."

Dixon has a strong commitment to the young people and their gaining a quality education. The community has three excellent kindergarten through fifth grade elementary schools, a middle school for sixth through eighth grade students and a beautiful high school located along the river. Along with fine public schools, there are two parochial elementary schools.

In higher education, Sauk Valley Community College offers career opportunities with an associate degree program. The 165 acre campus stretches along beautiful Rock River and is committed to quality college education.
