Chief Tim Shipman joined the Dixon Fire Department on January 16, 1993. He was promoted to Lieutenant on May 15, 2005 and appointed Chief July 9, 2008. His certifications are Fire Officer I, Firefighter III, Fire/Arson Investigator, Hazardous Materials Technician, Instructor I, Technical Rescue Awareness, and EMT-Paramedic

Captain Wilcox joined the Dixon Fire Department on May 20, 1985. He was promoted to lieutenant on October 20, 1992 and Captain on August 1, 1994. His certifications include EMT-Basic, Firefighter II, Hazardous Material Technician, Fire/Arson Investigator, and Technical Rescue Awareness.
