His certifications are Fire Officer I, Firefighter III, Fire/Arson Investigator, Hazardous Materials Technician, Management II, Instructor I, Surface Ice Rescue, Technical Rescue Awareness, Tactics and Strategies I, Paramedic, ACLS,BTLS, and PALS. Chief Shipman is married with 2 children. |

Captain Mike Wilcox (C Shift)Captain Wilcox joined the Dixon Fire Department on May 20, 1985. He was promoted to lieutenant on October 20, 1992 and Captain on August 1, 1994.
