John Deere Historic Site
In Grand Detour (10 miles north of Dixon), John Deere’s restored pioneer home and a special archaeological exhibit of the original blacksmith shop. The John Deere home, a working blacksmith shop, and a unique gift shop are open daily April through November. Admission.
