The City of Dixon Water Department is pleased to be upgrading a water main along River Street starting at Artesian Avenue heading west to Crawford Avenue on the southeast side of Dixon. To complete a portion of this work, River Street will be closed from Ottawa Avenue to Illinois Route 2 beginning on September 28th. This closure will be in effect each day from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The project will take approximately three weeks for completion. The City of Dixon appreciates your patience during this upgrade. Please note that the roadway will be open to local traffic including access to the KSB parking lot on River Street.
