In preparation for the Heritage Crossing Dixon Riverfront Dedication and "Begins the Trail" Ronald Reagan Statue Unveiling, a video is available for viewing below, highlighting the year long construction project.

Going from a look that had remained in Dixon for more than a century, the steep grassy area on the south bank of the Rock River has been converted to a multi-use path with a two-block plaza area with many features.  The Reagan Statue will be the main focal point of the central plaza area at the intersection of Reagan Way (Hennepin Ave.) and River Street.  The statue was placed on Monday, August 10th and will remain veiled until the dedication ceremonies.

• 11:30 a.m.  Dedication Ceremony, Unveiling of Reagan Statue, Cutting of Ribbons
• 12:30 p.m.  Musical Friday with Jazzy Jeff
• 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Variety of Music and Art
• 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Music from the Late Night Blues Brothers
• 9:30 p.m.  Fireworks
