Since 1869, when S. S. Dodge & Augustus Kling were in the jewelry businesss, Trein's has been a jewelry store in Dixon, Illinois. In 1883, the business was moved to the corner of Hennepin and First Street in downtown Dixon and has continued at the same location for 120 years. Through the years, the business has changed hands only a few times and has remained a main-stay of the community since the day it opened.
