Roque Romero and Ryan Proell

Within the last four months, several individuals have been arrested for selling cocaine in the Dixon and Lee County area by the Dixon Police Department as a result of an ongoing drug investigation. There were also two individuals arrested for selling cocaine in the Winnebago County area which was a joint investigation by the Dixon Police Department and the State Line Area Narcotics Task Force (S.L.A.N.T.). Through the course of the investigations, over 60 grams of cocaine was seized.

The following individuals have been arrested and charged with the following offenses:

PROELLRyan L. Proell, age 35, of Dixon has been charged with Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance, 1-15 grams (cocaine) within 1,000 Feet of a Park, said offense being a Class X Felony, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1-15 grams (cocaine) with Intent to Deliver within 1,000 Feet of a School, said offense being a Class X Felony, Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance, 1-15 grams (cocaine), said offense being a Class 1 Felony, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, 1-15 grams (cocaine), said offense being a Class 1 Felony, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, less than 15 grams, (cocaine), said offense being a Class 4 Felony.

 

ROMERORoque Romero, age 34, of Dixon has been charged with Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance, 1-15 grams (cocaine), said offense being a Class 1 Felony, and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, less than 15 grams (cocaine), said offense being a Class 4 Felony

The charges are merely an allegation and all parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
