Library Consortium

The Dixon Public Library is a member of the Rock River Libraries Consortium (RRLC.) The members of the RRLC are: Sterling Public Library, Rock Falls Public Library, Dixon Public Library, Sterling Public Schools, Rock Falls High School, and Newman Central Catholic High School. The shared library catalog provides you access to over 250,000 items!

You may request items from any of the items in the online catalog, but here are some things to remember:

If the book is available at the Dixon Public Library, please place a Location Specific Hold.

During the summer, the school libraries are not open. If the book you want is only available at one of the schools, you will need to call our interlibrary loan librarian at 284-7261 ext.4

You may not request books online if your card is expired or if you have fines.

You may also choose where you want to pick up your books. For instance, if you live in Dixon but work in Sterling, you can pick up your books at the Sterling Public Library.
